KOBE is an innovative Japanese restaurant where customers can customize their dishes to 100%, creating a unique culinary experience. Inspired by the Japanese city of Kobe, famous for its meats and its rich gastronomic culture, this restaurant offers a fusion of tradition and modernity.
The purpose of the project was to develop a brand identity and a digital presence that reflect the authenticity and customization that KOBE offers to its customers.
Tasks: Integral Design and User Experience
In the KOBE project, I took over a number of key tasks to establish a strong identity and an effective digital presence:
Logo and Brand creation: I developed a logo and the visual identity of KOBE, ensuring it reflects the essence of the restaurant and its focus on customization. The color was based mainly on granate tones like # 960303.
Onepage Design of the Restaurant: I designed a one-page website (Onepage) that integrates all important elements in an efficient and attractive way.
Adaptability of Design: I worked on the adaptability of content for mobile devices and tablets, crucial to the typology of the business and user experience.
Free for Japanese Restaurant
The KOBE logo is a visual representation carefully designed to encapsulate the identity and values of the restaurant. I detail below each of the elements of the project that have been significant during its creation.
The Name «KOBE»:
In this case, the mark did not have a defined name, so the name of «KOBE». This is significant because it refers to one of Japan's most important cities, known worldwide for its high quality meat, one of the values that the brand wanted to transmit most. By choosing this name, we instantly capture a rich cultural and gastronomic reference that resonates with Japanese food lovers.
The elements of the Logo:
- Circle like «O»: In the logo, the circle that represents the letter «O» It symbolizes a sushi, one of the most emblematic dishes of Japanese cuisine. This choice is not only visually attractive but also immediately communicates the nature of the restaurant.
- Wood chopsticks (Ohashi): The chopsticks that accompany the circle are an iconic element of Japanese cuisine, underlining the authenticity and traditional experience that KOBE offers.
Color palette:
I have used the red / garnet color, which has a great symbolology in Japan, representing happiness, good fortune and prosperity. This color choice adds a level of cultural depth and visual appeal to the logo. The main colors have been # 960303 combined with brown tones like # 960303 which seeks to more represent the color of the wooden sticks.

To ensure the versatility of the use of the logo, I created a simplified version using only the element of the circle as the «O». This version is ideal for applications where a more detailed logo would not be practical, keeping the visual identity clear and recognizable.

Design Onepage Japanese restaurant
The page design onepage of the KOBE restaurant was an exercise of balance between functionality and aesthetics. The page is designed to incorporate all the crucial elements, such as the menu, the process of customization of dishes, the history of the restaurant, and contact information, all on a single page. This ensures easy navigation and a user experience without complications.
It is important to note that the design avoids visual overload, maintaining a balance between content and images, ensuring that the page is attractive and functional without being overwhelming for visitors.

Adaptability for Mobile and Tablets
Given the nature of the business and the need to attract a mobile audience, we worked hard on the design adaptability both on mobile device and tablet. Show the design adapted to mobile device below:

To this end, the content of the web was optimized to be accessible and attractive on both mobile and tablet devices. This includes setting images, texts and buttons to ensure that usability and aesthetics are maintained on smaller screens. A clear example was the representation of some elements that included drop-down or interacting elements to prevent mobile overload:

In short, the KOBE project not only established a strong and coherent visual identity, but also created an effective digital presence adapted to modern needs. Through a well-thought-out design and careful execution, KOBE It seeks to position itself as an innovative Japanese restaurant that offers a unique and personalized experience to its customers.
